Who I am
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Washington.
I’ve been in private practice over 5 years with a focus on attachment concerns in adults and experiential relational therapies. I was trained as a generalist clinical psychologist and have a breadth of experience providing treatment in a wide range of settings, including inpatient psychiatric care, integrated behavioral healthcare, college counseling centers at small and large institutions, and private practice.
My work is influenced by lived experience as a father and partner; as a neurodivergent person; as an immigrant to the US; and as a citizen of multiple countries and growing up internationally mobile. I identify as a cisgendered white man, and am in an active process of integrating what it means to hold this identity while also being in a position of helping others heal.
My educational history includes:
Post-doctoral clinical residency at University of California Santa Cruz’s counseling center
Pre-doctoral internship at Washington State University’s counseling center
PsyD and MA in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL
BA in Psychology with a minor in Applied Psychology from University of California Santa Barbara
